1. Youtube has become an important tool in our lives today. It’s not only for entertainment but there are a lot of information inside Youtube nowadays that are enjoyable to behold.

2. For Symbian S60 3rd Edition and S60 5th Edition (I wish I can just say Symbian…), there are many ways to enjoy Youtube contents. Among them are the built-in S60 Web (S60 3rd Edition FP1 & FP2 & 5th Edition), using Skyfire, OpenVideo hub, CorePlayer, Kinoma Player, Mobitubia and also using the official native Youtube app from Google.
3. The application simply called Youtube and you can download it for free using your S60 Web from http://m.youtube.com

4. The application is very simple and easy to use. You can use WiFi and 3G to connect to the internet. It is adviseable to use WiFi or unlimited data plan because it uses extensive data to stream Youtube contents to your smartphone.
5. However, the application is still immature, meaning, there are many things that have not been implemented yet. Such as logging in and viewing subscription. I hope it will be incuded in the future.

6. On the bonus side, the design of this application took a lot of reference from Youtube’s flash player inside desktop browser where you can see the slider-bar, fast-forward, rewind, play and also the volume button.
7. If you are not using high-speed connection such as 3G or WiFi, you will experience a lot of buffering in the application.

8. For casual Youtubing and some on the go entertainment, I really recommend this free application.
9. What do you think of this cool application and what can be enhanced?
