THE INDEPENDENT SYMBIAN BLOG rises from the ashes of i-Symbian.Com in November 2009. i-Symbian.Com was first established in the year 2003 as a one-stop information center, blending the latest information bout EPOC, Symbian and mobile technology. It had a news section, forum, articles and reviews and more. During that time, there were not many Symbian related info-website on the internet.
Now, i-symbian.com is reborn, and I choose the moniker THE INDEPENDENT SYMBIAN BLOG to reflect changes, and the new direction. Adapting a new philosophy and a new spirit to provide independent views, opinions and comments on the mobile industry, the downloads and APK industries in general.
Name’s Asri al-Baker. Mobile and Downloads are my passion. Started using mobile computing device with a Psion Revo back then in the late 90′s early 2000. Tried various devices including Palm v, Handspring Visor, HP Jornada 565 and lots of others. But decided to stick to EPOC until today. I start to use Symbian with the 7650. The first UIQ device was Sony Ericsson P800 and man… what a beautiful device that was… Lightyears ahead of it’s competitor…
